I sit on the cusp of a new season and dangle my feet from the porch in a nervous anticipation of the jump down. The sun is setting, and a new day is coming, as the buds are ready to bloom.
New days of color, and fragrance, and beauty.
Days of gathering bouquets and binding them in vases.
Days to take in the wonder of all that is new.
I’ve spent the last several months growing a dream. And what started, as a single thought and a brief comment to a friend, grew. What began as a gentle heart-nudge has become a passion. And I’ve spent this last season planting and toiling and fertilizing and pruning this dream. And now the beautiful flower’s bud is full, and it’s just about ready to bloom.

It’s all about our mud—times of trials, adversity, failure, suffering, or pain—no matter how we got there, and no matter how dirty and messy it all was. And I can’t wait to share it with each of you!
Mud Stories will be a podcast dedicated to bringing you inspiration in your muddiest moments, hope to make it through your mud, and encouragement for you to know, you are not alone.
We’ll highlight stories and testimonies of God meeting us in our suffering, His grace seeing us through our difficulty, His mercy finding us in our failure, and we’ll explore all the ways He redeems and restores every situation in His time.
You’ll hear inspiring words born from challenging trials and adversity, and discover how God works even those difficulties for good.
It is my hope that this podcast will be a source of great encouragement for us all—to know that in whatever mud we’ve been through, or are currently in, that we are not alone, and that in Him we have great hope.
